The preview and your information
Room & Rail is a preview within the Visual Media Factory furniture website project. Test the pages with invented contact details. The operating company, public contacts, and final delivery and returns terms have not yet been completed for customer launch.
The record behind a test order
A submitted test order keeps the details supplied in the form, its furniture selections, quantities, starting prices, and project notes. The originating website and any campaign labels are also retained. The private shared dashboard displays these records, and the internal test inbox receives them. The furniture catalog supplier does not receive order information.
Cookies and preview measurement
Essential session cookies keep the basket working and protect form submissions. Preview measurement records whether a browser session views products, saves a finish board, adds furniture, opens an order form, or submits a test order. A separate random reference links these stages for up to 30 minutes of inactivity. It contains no contact details, IP address or raw session cookie. Measurement records expire after 90 days. Known automated clients, workspace use, Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control requests are excluded. Hosting security logs may still contain request information, including IP addresses. Advertising trackers and customer emails are absent. Keep payment information out of the forms.
Your boards and this browser
Your finish boards are private records on this server, separated by brand. Each stores the board name, notes, configured furniture, unit counts, saved amounts, and finish references. Access depends on an essential secure browser cookie lasting up to 400 days. Another browser cannot retrieve the board, and clearing that cookie removes your access. The preview has neither account recovery nor shareable project links. Archived boards can be restored inside the finish-board tool. Board notes should contain no contact or payment information.
Keeping and reviewing records
During development, test records and saved boards remain stored. For future customer records, the planned review point is 24 months after the latest activity. Deletion will be considered at that review; no automatic removal policy is enabled.
