Delivery planning
Plan for the furniture to reach the room.
A finished palette still has a practical journey ahead of it. Before finalizing a selection, consider how the pieces will enter the building and where they can wait until the room is ready.
Keep access in the project notes
Describe the receiving entrance, available access, and any restrictions on delivery hours. Compare listed product dimensions with the route into the space. Packaging dimensions and handling arrangements may need a separate confirmation.
Settle the arrangements in writing
Delivery timing, freight charges, tax, and assembly services are not established by a finish board or product photo. Confirm them for the actual order. Your saved board records the furniture selection; its subtotal does not include shipping or tax. Customer shipping terms and contact details are still being prepared for this preview.
Think beyond the finished room
A piece can suit the room and still need a careful arrival plan. Walk the route from the receiving point to its final position. Consider the door openings, turns, stairs and elevator access along the way. If the route is tight, ask about the packaged dimensions and delivery form instead of relying only on the furniture measurements.
Record the intended location beside the selection on your finish board. Named room groups help the receiving team understand where different finishes and quantities belong.
Give the delivery conversation a clear starting point
- Provide the delivery ZIP code and receiving location.
- Note access hours, vehicle restrictions and any stairs.
- Identify a person who can receive and check the furniture.
- Ask which unloading, assembly and placement services are included.
Requested arrival dates need confirmation. A product image, catalog listing or saved board does not establish that the piece is available for a particular date. Shipping charges and tax are also confirmed for the actual order.
Keep the references available on arrival
Download the saved project sheet before sharing the board. It records the selected finishes and quantities by room, which can help distinguish similar pieces assigned to different areas. Retain the reviewed order record as well; a saved sheet is a planning reference, not a delivery commitment.
The final receiving and damage procedures must be confirmed before a real order. Read returns and changes for the terms to clarify, and use the ordering guide to see where those checks fit.
